Are Services runs a small TV studio (also used for Video Conferencing) equipped for basic video recording onto DV or mini-DV tape. This can then be edited on PC using a range of video editing software including “Adobe Premier Pro” and associated software. Captions and voice-overs etc can be added and the edit written to DVD disk. The filmed material can also be processed by our staff for web streaming etc.

A range of microphones are possible including tie microphones for interview situations. Suitable studio lighting is also supplied.

Location filming
Audio Visual Services also has location equipment including portable DV and mini-DV digital camcorders, audio mixer, microphones etc.

Charges
Costs are based on unit cost of each item of equipment plus a £25-00 charge per hour for technician time. All charges for items of equipment can be found on our equipment hire price list
